When I added the link to my webbrowser it simply downloaded and opened the file. Now you can enable the 'Internal: The EPG data only, however, appears dmltv some of the shows, and not in others.

It is unknown what purpose these companies have in trying to prevent their TV guides being used by their audience, possibly some misguided sense of copyright. I receive channels from Sydney as well as Illawarra. An example of FrogBoy's work follows. I never did get around to working out how to do that in the old system, but this one just allows me to add all the sources I want, then map them to my xmlfv. Wikipedia has an article on: I am still deciding whether to implement items marked with a '?

You tell me to "Set this path according to your setup" however, I'm simply not experienced enough to understand how that path is represented in my setup.

That said, I am able to get a basic EPG program names and times only and am able to watch live and record, all perfectly, so I can't really complain too much! I have corrected my transcription errors because I use the Google translator. In the mean time, try gunzip-ing the xmltv file from a different folder to its correct location. Not much use to me if I can't get TVHeadend to pull them in, though. Australia doesn't have a service like Zap2It to provide TV program guide listings.
